Days Sixteen&Seventeen: Little (Exciting) Things...

Yesterday, we had a company clean our vents and furnace because they were extremely gross and our inspector thought it looked like they had never been cleaned. That wouldn't be such a bad thing if the house was only a few years old, but... it was built in 1968. Yuck. But now our vents are nice and clean, and the miscellaneous objects that shouldn't be in vents (beads, night lights, light switch covers, small toys, pens, etc.) are no longer there and they look more like this:

Clean, clean, clean! Anyone who's been to visit and help out knows that this is not what the vents looked like initially.

And, today, I took over our first load of boxes (mostly books, as we packed our bookcases almost two months ago now) so that they are no longer hanging out in our living and guest rooms. I also loaded another set of boxes and tubs and stuff into the car this evening to take over sometime tomorrow. It's nice to move stuff out of our little apartment where they take up a lot of room and into a place where there is nothing there:

I'd like to say that I'm excited to unpack, but I'm not quite there yet. Maybe it's the chaos that still is almost everywhere in the house? Maybe just a little...
