Days Twenty-One&Twenty-Two: Trim and Tile

Some more slow progress both Tuesday and today. John came up again Tuesday and worked on trim in the living room. He also primed and painted the closet. The living room is almost ready for living (though it needs a good cleaning and a bunch of touch-ups).

Tonight was pretty successful, as well. Chris and Jeff Eagan managed to get the concrete board installed on top of the subfloor in the bathroom and then... Jeff tiled the bathroom floor! I'm so very super-excited for what this means. We're getting much closer! The bathroom floor and the shower walls are both jobs that have been holding us up for a long time. Once they are finished, we can install fixtures and have a functional bathroom, which means that we can move in!

Chris also installed one of the endcaps for the countertops in the kitchen. It's another one of those small things that, as they get done, we inch closer to the finish line.

We're so close, I can almost taste it - but I think that might be the residual trimmed laminate dust.
