Day Twenty-Three: Rounding Corners

We were blessed to have family up to help out again today. It seems like we inch forward during the week before having "super-Saturdays" where we get a ton of stuff done. And by "we," I mean... pretty much everyone but me. I've gotten to the point where I don't do much - except nap and fetch food. I even forgot the camera today, so I used John's phone to take pictures...

Not bad, huh? Chris finished installing the last of the countertops today and with John's help installed the backsplash on the one side of the kitchen. Elise touched up the cabinet doors and sanded/primed/painted the drawers, which the guys later put back on the cabinet boxes. The other side looks woeful.

And while I napped and the guys and Elise worked on other things, Randy and Karin tiled our upstairs shower. It looks amazing! They did a wonderful job and we're encouraged that we're "rounding the corner" and headed toward home.

In other news, the master is done (John hung the curtain rod this morning), Chris and his mom had an adventure in taking a load of trash to the dump (goodbye, trash heap!), and we have to find a way to get the stove flush against the wall.
